Childcare workers regularly pick up children throughout the day; to put them on a changing table, to comfort them after a fall, and often a child will just want a cuddle.

Did you know that every time you pick up a child, you could be damaging your back? This damage will often not be seen for years but can be serious and very debilitating and is caused by years of not lifting heavy objects correctly.
